Silver Silvester – Silver Gelatin Prints by Hans Silvester (1958–1976)

This collection presents an exceptional selection of silver gelatin prints by Hans Silvester, produced between 1958 and 1976. Created during the early years of his career, these black-and-white photographs testify to the qualities of traditional darkroom printing: deep blacks, subtle grain, and finely nuanced contrasts.

Each image is printed in a strictly limited edition of five, using classic silver gelatin processes. The photographs are signed and numbered out of five by the artist. These works form part of a broader effort to preserve a rare and authentic photographic heritage.

The prints offered are those presented in the Silver Silvester exhibition at Galerie Retour de Voyage from April 1 to 30, 2026, and then by appointment with Frédéric: +33 6 87 32 58 68.
