Typical of African art and the ethnic groups that created it, this magnificent bronze bracelet comes from the Dogon country, near Timbuktu. More than a sign of belonging to the highest ranks of the Dogon community, the delicacy of this finely drawn bracelet, with a seated figure, demonstrates the art of the Dogon, who mastered the lost-wax technique perfectly.
