For the past 30 years, Marc Nucera has been training in his studio garden in Noves near Avignon to acquire “gesture formulas”.  He wields his tools with unrivalled virtuosity, combining delicacy and determination. “This work is a work of memory”, Marc Nucera emphasizes about this sculpture. All the artist's gestures are represented in these antique-inspired draperies. The 10 gesture inscriptions can be read, all present in great harmony, creating an abstraction in its final form from a certain figuration.
