This photograph was made by Hans Silvester in 1968, in Japan of course. Hans criss-crossed the country for more than 6 months bringing back images of life, such as that of these two young children whose games he immortalizes on the platform of the station, with in the background these first famous shinkansen, ancestors of our TGV. This image of these two Japanese children is similar to the pictures of children that the artist has made throughout his travels and which refer to scenes of joy, laughter and privileged moments, proof once again of the talent of the photographer who knows how to capture a spontaneous moment in everyday life.
