On the occasion of the publication of the artist’s book Japan 1968, Galerie Retour De Voyage presents an exhibition centered on this unique work, a true collector’s object. The book is enriched by the collaboration of calligrapher Master Chen Yong Wu, whose creations engage in dialogue with the images, emphasizing the poetic and spiritual dimension of Japan in the 1960s. The exhibition thus brings together a selection of original photographs from the Japan 1968 series, the Japanese calligraphies of Master Chen Yong Wu featured in the edition, and, of course, the artist’s book Japan 1968, presented as the central piece.
