This small book, edited by La Maison Sur La Sorgue, is the catalogue of the exhibition NOIRES SILHOUETTES produced at the Retour De Voyage gallery at the end of 2016. This exhibition brought together three artists and was an anthem to the beauty of black women : ... Hans Silvester showed his photographic portraits of the Hamer women in southern Ethiopia, which were later published in the book ... Et ta beauté me foudroie... ... Sophie Sainrapt exhibited her paintings of dark blue Raisin Women and her Metis Women ... Ndary Lô, who had come to prepare the exhibition, but was unable to attend its opening, had installed several very beautiful statues. This little book pays tribute to him. Texts by Christian Noorbergen, philosopher and art historian, and Sylvain Sankalé, writer. Photo credits: Hans Silvester and Rémi Michel
